She signed off on huge no-bid contract to unqualified vendor who botched contract

At ICE, Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, the noted open border profiteer, was Claire Trickler-McNulty’s boss until he left the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2019. Since then, she has worked closely with Lorenzen-Strait on contract opportunities for his new employer.[1] Lorenzen-Strait worked for the Biden transition team and reportedly played a significant role in securing an $86.9 million, no-bid contract for Family Endeavors to put illegal immigrants in hotels. The company had little experience doing this type of work previously.[2]
